    I'm glad you fellas are liking the wooden scales. It means you have to be a bit more carefull not to get them too wet but I don't find that much of a problem. I'm still new to all this so time will tell how well my oil and wax treatment stands up, but it's a tried and tested method for knife handles so it should be fine.

    Very nicely done. I think you chose well with the danish oil and wax. Makes the wood glow.

    Ditto . Beautiful finish. Should be durable & easily maintained.
