Interesting razor design -- "The Plagiarist"
This razor is a departure for me, mainly because I didn't design it. If it looks familiar...
I call it "The Plagiarist."
I made this one out of 1084, mirror polished everywhere but the hollows. It's almost 1" wide but is ground like a 6/8.
I'm keeping this one for myself, since I haven't kept any of my good razors to date. (I have a couple that didn't quite make the grade...)
Robert's design works really well for my face. Copying it was instructive and gave me a few ideas for my own fixed-handled razor. Doing the scalloping was fun, although it didn't come out completely even. I'll have to give it another shot soon.
