Default Reworked Wade & Butcher in Black horn

    Hi guys,

Just thought I would share my latest little project, a reworked Wade & Butcher in Black horn.

This blade was cracked at the toe when I found it locally, so I ground out the crack with a dremel and subsequently got carried away, eventually reshaping it and grinding out the shoulders. it made for a much more aesthetically pleasing blade IMO, but came at the expense of the tang stamps.

The wedge is aluminium with brass liners. Pins are brass, washers are stainless.

There's a healthy amount of pitting remaining, and a slight 'orange peel' finish to the metal in some areas that wouldn't sand out oddly (no buffer here unfort.), but overall quite pleased.

I'll post some before shots soon.

    Cheers!
