Kobar German city 5 out of 7 day set
I got these razors off the bay. Quite a bit of rust, and the scales were all broken. I buffed out all the rust, but am still left with some staining. I wanted to preserve the etching as each blade is etched with a different "Souvenir" and the German city it is from. There is 0 hone wear on them and will likely send them off to be honed. I rescaled in birds eye maple with a cocobolo wedge. This is only my second attempt at a restoration as well as scale making (I never took wood shop so this has been an experience). Thanks for letting me share!
Here are some before and after pics.

Thanked: 240Very good job, especially for only a second attempt. It's too bad the original scales were broken up as they looked well matched with the blade. Is there any chance to transfer the decoration on the old scales to the new? If possible I think that'd be a nice touch. Either way you have a great set of razors there.
