    Default Second Henckels in Cocobolo

    I got a coworker shaving with straights. He bought a TI as I did, with a round toe. He wanted something with a point. I got a Henckels off eBay for him, only paid $13. It was in ok shape, one of the scales was cracked, and when I started refinishing the blade I found some real nasty grind marks. Looks like someone was trying to sharpen it on a belt grinder with about 660 grit. Still, the blade had alot of life left.
    So I had some cocobolo from my previous restores, and decided to use that. I am attaching the pics of it and my previous Henckels in Cocobolo. My pinning got alot better, and I shined them up as recommended by a previous post.
    The blade I hand sanded from 600-2000. I haven't honed it yet, but I have about 7 hours of work into the whole thing.
    Now I don't know if I want to give it up. I am 2 razors towards a 7 day set!
    Decisions, decisions.

    Great looking razors. You get extra points for hand sanding, they turned out fantastic!!!

    Two down, only five left to go!!!

    Dude-
    You know you had a blast doing both of these.
    You'll make a few more;
    give them both up and make more! Of course please share.

    Nice job. The pinning looks great too.
