    Default Joseph Rodgers & Son..In Cocobolo

    This is a 6/8 Joseph Rodgers & Sons with Cocobolo scales finished with CA, the wedge is Gabon Ebony with brass liners, the pins are brass with brass domed washer. Hope ya guys like it

    Very nice. I'll have to try one of those lined wedges soon, they're very cool.
    Did you dome those washers yourself or did you buy them like that?

    What did you finish the scales in? Did you use CA?

    I like the color of that cocobolo. Makes it pop with the CA. Sweet looking combo. Great job.

    I domed them my self, I drilled a divit a little bigger than my .080 washer and used a nail set to dome the washer

    Ya its a CA finish, try the gorilla glue brand CA. I did 2 coats, sanded between coats, wet sanded final coat 320-1500 buffed and done. It was pretty fast and easy. Finished in under 2 hrs that includes drying times

    That Rodgers looks great in Cocobola. I have A similar Rodgers unfinished just wondering how does she shave?
