    Default W&B "for barber use" Work in progress

    Hi Gentlemen,

    I'm working on this Wade these days, so i show you the "work in progress".

    I will keep it "all original"

    The blade (in 8/8) after the first polishing :





    And the scales, after 48h of "re-hydration"..ready to be polished :

    I use a warm (not hot) mixture of : linseed oil; olive oil; and oil of mineral jelly (i'm not sur of the translate, in french it's "vaseline oil" ) and other "secret" stuffs

    Sometimes the old horn is like that. I had some others W&B, around 1830/40, with this same effect..

    But i don't know why, maybe a kind of patina..
