Super nice JOB! The value of a USMC blade alone dictates special treatment and you have succeeded in respecting it as well as giving it a "Modern Military" flavor with the blue job and your choice of scale material. I love to see different things and this is surely a one of a kind! Kudos!

I can say that currently serving in the USMC, i wish they would have issued something like that, unfortunately as straight shaving is a dying art, we only get Mach 3 disposables. Makes me upset, but i really think you did a great restoration. Any ideas on where i would find a vintage USMC blade like that?
Thanks for the kind words, glad that you like it and Thank You for your service! As far as where to find one, I lucked into this blade, all I can suggest is ebay & your local antique store.

Great idea on the scales, love the wedge color lol
I thought about adding an insignia, but I couldn't find one small enough locally and online often don't provide measurements.

Thanks Grant! Tomorrow morning will be the test...It took 6 hours to set the bevel (the edge was non existent before the restore and the blueing probably didn't help the cause).

This blade took FOREVER to get the edge dialed in. I finally got it there and finished the edge on an Asagi and she shaves like a dream. Thanks to all for posting there amazing work that continually inspires me to try something new :
