Stunning piece, Gabor! I love the fact that the steel came from a Leopard! What a tremendous historical piece.

Glad to see you're back at it after your injury. Of course seeing this piece just makes my mouth water waiting for my turn in the queue!

    Default Beautiful razor-interesting history

    Buddel,

What an incredibly beautiful razor! That it contains steel from the main gun of a Leopard, increases the WOW factor.

I rode, with the Bundeswehr, in a Leopard, during Operation Reforger 1976. The main gun was a, standard for NATO, 105mm cannon. Great guys and super competent troops. "Egon" could put a round into a tank carcass at 3,000 meters with, but one, ranging shot. Highly impressive marksmanship in anyone's book.

I was the gunner on an M60A1 Patton Main Battle Tank. At the time, the Leopard was THE epitome of a main battle tank . All the American tankers were highly envious of the Leopards.

Thanks for the great pictures and interesting background.

    Sincerely,

    An old tread head.

Beautiful as always Gabor. Seeing things like that makes me think about whether I should make space for a second Buddel in my collection.
