My Restored Blades
Hello all,
I hope this is the right place for these comments. I just received my Satinedge and Henckels 401 back from Max in Vegas. The Satinedge was a complete restore and the Henckels was a blade restore and new scales (Jade Ghost).
I was out of town this weekend and last shaved Sunday morning. I purposely didn't shave for a couple of days in anticipation of receiving my treasures from Max. Well I just got out of the shower and decided to take the Satinedge for spin, WOW what a smooooooth shave, especially ATG. Kudos to Max for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Satinedge was completely taken down and completely rebuilt. I was confident in Max's skills from looking at his before and after pics, but until you experience his magic you just have to trust that he knows what he is doing. I have attached a couple of pics and would like to hear from anyone else who has Max do some work.
Shave On!

Better than new, right? You get that "extra attention to detail" that doesn't come with a production razor. They look great! Have fun with them.

Beautiful razors. You are fortunate to have them, enjoy. We are blessed with several members who do these stunning restorations sparing no detail. Max's work is known the world over by straight razor lovers.

My Restored Blades
Thanks to all, I do use them, while I consider my growing stable of razors a collection. They are not trailer queens, these blades will be pressed into service on a regular basis. I just wish my beard grew faster.
