Thanked: 993Temporal? Temporate?
This blade was another market pick. The final letter(s) is illegible, so I'm guessing at the name. The scales are also something new to me. They were in good shape, so I kept them. However, they feel like leather, and one has a small ripple in it. Based on that, I gave them a good scrub and used some neatsfoot oil on them.
The blade was hand sanded from 220-2000. And the wedge is the original piece of lead. I love the way this one turned out, and I'm anxious to get it on the hones. I don't have a 1/4 grind, so this will be new to me, honing and shaving.
Second set of pics out of the makeshift liquor store lightbox.

Nice job. Scales are probably a rubber compound. Can't remember the name tho.
Vulcanite or Ebonite , I thinkThe white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
