    Default My First Attempt....Im Happy

    Only took up straights at Christmas but now I have the bug

    Bought a couple of "tired" Wade N Butchers off the Bay and went to work on them.

    Rosewood with a Purpleheart Wedge & Purple Heart with a Ash Wedge.

    First time working with Cyano glue finnish and first time peening.
    Also had a good polish up of the blades.

    Quite proud of myself and now Ive got to get them honed, I wont be taking on that just yet

    Looks like they all came together nicely. Lovely classic shaped scales too.
    The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
