Freshened up Wade and Butchers
I thought I would share pics of 2 Wade and Butcher razors I have just completed. The picbone scales on the smaller-bladed one were donated by a Holler with a cracked blade
The larger bladed razor in horn did not need much. Just a good cleaning and buff.
Did not grind nor go overboard so as to keep them as original as possible.
Sadly, they almost fill up the blank spaces in my Sheffield cabinet!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Love it!
It's wonderful to see such care taken with vintage materials; either of those could have come fresh from the factory. Really great job!

Thanked: 7Beautiful job. I especially like the very traditional look of the black scales. Outstanding. I would be proud to have (if you were selling for a reasonable price ).

Very nice indeed. I'd be proud of that work.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Very nice. I especially love the pic bone scales.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
