Default Fredrick Reynolds 7/8 barber notch in multi color buffalo horn

Another F.R. off the work bench. This one is a barber notch 7/8 wedge, pretty common blade type. I have 3 others in my rotation with the same blade. This one got a run on the greesless compounds to remove the rust and pitting, then hand sanded to further clean it up then finally buffed to a near mirror finish. There are still some dimples on the top of the spine but all the offending rust is long gone. I put it back in a set of multi color buffalo horn scales, the originals were black horn and in bad shape. I like Bacote wedges in these scales. The wood contrasts nicely with the horn.

excellent. I have one of these bad boys, and I love the shave after a couple days growth. Yours looks much prettier than mine!
