Maleham & Yeoman, purple acrylic
On another forum I put out a challenge for the members to find a (junk) razor for $10 or less and do their best to save it from the trash heap. I found this Maleham and Yeomans near wedge for $10 and decided to make it my project.
It still has some light pitting and marks on the blade which I cannot seem to get out by hand sanding, but overall I am happy. And more importantly, another razor is saved to be used again.
It has purple translucent acrylic scales, a green acrylic spacer, and nickel silver pins.

You've done a nice job reinforcing one of the reasons this hobby is such a blast.
Taking that old, neglected blade, using simple tools not dissimilar to tools that were used ages ago when it was made. You successfully brought it back to life so as it can again serve its original purpose.
The extra bonus is it looks great too.

Nice Job! I love the idea of your challenge. If I had one criticism that purple is a little wild for me.
