    Default Bengall in Midnight Acrylic

This is another one that I hand sanded while I was away from home last year, finally finished. I got my hands on some new acrylics and this stuff looks awesome. It has a real depth which, unfortunately will probably will be lost in pictures, and the silver streaks seem to move slightly as you look at it from different angles. Cool Stuff.
There was some fairly nasty pitting, some of it on and around the blade etch. I didnt want to loose that nice etch so I took it easy on the whole blade and left a few pitts. It got an Aluminium wedge, Nickel-Silver pins with s/steel washers.
I'm looking forward to getting this baby honed up.

    Grant,

It's stunning. You're right, that acrylic is very cool. I think your placement of the toe pin is awesome. The whole thing looks fantastic.

Wow Grant, Nice Work! I really like the acrylic and the aluminum wedge and the pins and...well I like the whole thing! The scale shape is fantastic and I really like how nicely the side edges are rounded.

Nice lines to these scales and I like the smoke in the acrylic.
