    Default W&B in Cocobolo

I restored this one with custom scales from some very figured Cocbolo I have. The finish is Tru Oil, brass washers and rod.

Very nice work. Glad you managed to keep that etch visible.

    Nice work!
Of any wood I would recommend for wet work, Cocobolo is tops. I have used it for espresso machine knobs, tampers, and grips for a few years with no complaints. It ages to a beautiful red-shot brown/black that is very rich in hue. I have only walnut-oiled it and have had it in daily use for at least four years on my own machine.
    Great Choice!

This is beautiful. I have a soft spot for wood scales. I love the warmth that wood provides, and this is no exception.
