KRUPP Quick Resotration
David aka Nubskillz gave me this razor to do a quick cleanup on it, mainly to practice and to eventually redo the scales. As most of u know i am a fan of orange acrylic so I figured I might as well clean up the scales and blade as much as I could. It came out pretty decent, just threw it on the buffers left some of the staining on the blade it give it character and cleaned the scales as much as I could. Had to use a spare wedge because I cracked the other when when taking the scales apart, then ended up sanding it down so the blade would not hit.
Brass pins with stainless and brass washers.
sorry for the pics they were just a quick shot so David could see. In person actually the blade looks amost near mirror.

I'll bet that Krupp is thinking, "ahhhh.....thanks for the cleanup!" Don't you think? Another saved from the hands of rust and muck. Good job.

Can't wait to get this baby back and give it a whirl. This was on my "too good to be used in this state" razor list, along with this other Red razor a certain someone had a go at...
Thanks again man, it looks awesome

Thanked: 1371You did a really nice job of cleaning it up, but retaining it's original "flavor".

Looks great. I really love the improved lustre the scales give once given a cleaning.
