    Default Impala Horn Big Blade

    This one took me a while to complete but I think it came out pretty well. I've done a lot of giraffe bone and this looks and works differently. It has a nicer grain (IMHO) and has a darker hue. I put on about 7 coats of CA and sent about 20 minutes buffing. The wedge is green ghost which compliments the bone and silver well. The razor is very well balanced for such a large piece. As soon as I can find a nicer replacement blade, off it goes into my keeper case.

    I agree about the grain, I really like the darker flecks in this set of scales. The blade came out fantastic. Great work.

    The grain, colour & design is very nice indeed. Like how the blade etching shows when closed.
