    I like the shape of those scales they match the blade (a super cool blade). I think you nailed the thickness of the wedge. The razor looks like it should when the balde is closed.

    That is a super-cool awesome looking old razor. Very old. Great job on preserving the blade and turning it all in a very time oriented look and style.
