Geneva Pyramid Pearl Swirl
My good buddy & Genco fan David (dsipari) sent me this little pyramid for a mini restore.
Edge was a shocker so went for a bevel set before any other work.
B4 & after bevel reset pics first up.
Blade was surprisingly in good condition, cosmetically, so minimal work there.
Next was clean up the tang which was plated. Took some work to grind it clean of rust & finally I made new acrylic scales & wedge.
Still yet to hone but judging from how hard the steel is, should be a super shaver.Last edited by onimaru55; 03-25-2011 at 03:24 AM.

Nice job!
Those Pyramids take a great edge, and are super shavers! Mine refuses to give me a bad shave.

Shhh! No No, They're terrible shavers
Thanx Hoss. Love your work too.
Scope is a Veho 200x screwed up to max. then backed off a tad to focus so WAG = approx 200x, maybe
Just to add, the bevel was set with a DMT E to assess potential but pic is post the buffers so the edge looks kinda stroppedLast edited by onimaru55; 03-26-2011 at 03:05 AM.

Looks great. Thanks for the magnification image. Scales are a fine job. They have a look of ice, charged with electricity.
