Thread: Not so Dwarven Duck

This is one I got on eBay a while back & put off doing anything with it as edge & blade faces were in such a sad state. Scales & tang weren't too bad tho.
Thought I kept some B4 pics but apparently not

The thing that really struck me is the size this blade. Before any work, blade was a full 6/8" with a cutting edge approx 2.75" long. It's lost a whisker in width & I brought the heel forward a little but if that's a dwarf I'd like to see a Dubl Duck Giant

Anyhoo after satisfying myself that a bevel was possible. I decided to go minimalist & restore it with blade in place so it's original pins & all. There is still some minor pitting but edge is awesome as is the shave.
