    This how it arrived from an eBay auction.




    After some hand Polishing and a new set of Ebony scales with an green acrylic wedge



    This gives a lovely shave!

    Lovely work. Blade looks MUCH better, good looking scales too. The original scales were nice though, are they salvageable?

    Yeah I have saved the scales, they are usable but I am really into my wood at the moment

    Working with metal is another story though, about 3 hours of hand polishing went into getting the blade how it is now. Probably would have taken atleast another 3 hours to get rid of the pitting, but all I was after was a shaver and not a show piece. I am happy with the results.
