Thanked: 13245Taking a Fenney "Tally Ho" back a few years !!
Some before pics of our very own Mister A's, Fenney Sheffield Warranted Tally Ho...
We decided on a Full Vintage Restore, the blade was a litte on the pitted side
but with a bit of work I got almost all of it out, then re-polished the steel to a near mirror..
The scales are mottled horn, which I sanded then soaked with Neat's Foot oil, I finally buffed and polished them out to a high gloss shine... All new Brass pins and washers inside and outside hold it all back together..

Thanked: 1072Lovely work Glen. Really did this old beauty justice keeping it original, and also they are a very cool looking blade to begin with. Mister A is a lucky guy.

Fantastic work Glen! I love it. I'm so happy you managed to clean the razor up so well. The scales look wonderful and the blade even better... This piece of history is one that I'm proud to be the owner of. Thank you for the outstanding work you did on it.

Nice save there G. Should be good for another century or 2
The scales look like they enjoyed the neatsfoot & buffing. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
