Very good job. My King Cutter in mint condition with original pins and scales looks worse.

Thanx G. Sometimes I think the pics are the hardest part of razor work.

And the relatively new timber you've got looks pretty nice too, plus with the magic finish I just can see shipping a blade across the world and back somewhere in my future

I think the swamp Kauri can present problems as its been sleeping in a bog for all those years but it is pretty fo sho. I still have a small section of the board left. I'll put some aside for you

It lets the chatoyance in or it gets the hose again

Thanx Max. Having a digital camera but analog eyes makes it even harder for me

    Hello Oz:

What I especially like about this razor is its graceful air, the way it presents itself without knocking you over the head. One can easily see the professional's signature in the workmanship. Well done, my good man.

    Regards,

    Obie

I must definitely agree with my friend Obie. A straight razor with graceful, understated sophistication.

A very nice looking razor--especially the rescaling. Congratulations on a job well done.

Man! That screams of luxury and chatoyance! The grain is beautiful and selected perfectly. That blade is one of the best shavers ever made. Classy unit! I like it!

    Thanx Robert.
These old boards become available as older houses are torn down. Some people buy them to floor a new house but the price per meter makes for very expensive flooring. Luckily I don't need a lot for scales
