Default Where to buy small highly polished anvil?

So, anyone know where to buy small (up to 5 lbs.) highly polished anvil? Links welcome.
Something like this one from Gsixgun: http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ne-scales.html

THIS is one option. It's what I have and it's adequate, not great, but adequate.

Jeweler's supplies such as Widget Supply, machinist's suppliers too IIRC.

I think about something like this because I live in Croatia and shipping cost seems to be fair.

You could always chuck up a polished hammer in the vise and use you other hammer to peen with.

You can search for a polished anvil or just polish the item you put on the anvil after wacking on it. I just use a rough piece of steel as an anvil for my pinning. If you search the custom builds forum for threads I started you can see the finished results. You can come at it from the left or come at it from the right. Polishing after peening (or any other work that gets wacked) works best for me.

I have never figured out why????

I know many people do, but other than to look good in the pics why???
Using a highly polished Anvil and a highly polished Hammer will get you near perfect anyway, yes it takes more time, but really that polished look only lasts until the first time you/they have to tighten pins, and you/they will have to tighten the pins...

Sorry I just have never really figured that out...

PS: that Little anvil I have in the pics is about useless for real work I used it once for peening...

Get yourself a Jeweler's block for real work, I use that for final finish peening, and I polished out the anvil plates on my two bench vise' for initial work

http://www.widgetsupply.com/page/WS/CTGY/jeweler-anvil mine is a 4x4x3/4 inch stainless steel block that I keep very polished

I have a 8inch long piece of railroad track. Polished the top, and added a recess for peening. Works great. Polished with my belt sander, working up to a medium 3M fiber belt. Works great.
