So, anyone know where to buy small (up to 5 lbs.) highly polished anvil? Links welcome.

THIS is one option. It's what I have and it's adequate, not great, but adequate.

Jeweler's supplies such as Widget Supply, machinist's suppliers too IIRC.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I think about something like this because I live in Croatia and shipping cost seems to be fair.

You could always chuck up a polished hammer in the vise and use you other hammer to peen with.

I got a little jewellers anvil from amazon which works great. It was pretty cheap too and came with a decent polish on it.

    Hi,

I got a small model makers anvil (HA0035) from Squires here in the UK - cost about thirteen (13) GBP (ca 21 USD).

The miniature doming hammer (HA00009) is very nice as well

    Have fun !

    Best regards
