    I'm amazed at how closely you managed to get to the original scales in both color and condition. Looks like it could be cut from the same tree, (although I suspect the originals were horn?) and the purpleheart wedge really brings out the best. Awesome job at rescuing the original washers as well, they are lovely. Truly a vintage restore.
