Schmactenberg Bros in vintage aluminum
This is the oldest German razor I own and is surely a long blade! Since I don't make scales(yet), I finally found a large enough donor in these vintage aluminum ones. I left just enough patina on the blade and scales to satisfy my Oldie leanings and pinned it all together with some domed collars. Nice and tight with great balance! Thanks for looking at it!

I rest my case.

That's a good looking combo. Scales fit the blade nicely. Great job overall.

Blade/scales are a great match.
When I look at those individual pieces, I would have been blind to this combo and finish. Nice job

Great job! Blade bears more resemblance to the old English blades than German blades.
