    I won this Joseph Rodgers on eBay two weeks ago:



    After some work (no machines have been used to restore except for drilling pin holes):

    really nice job. nice lines on the scales, and great job on the blade. definitely something to be proud of.

    I first sanded them (1200 grit sandpaper) and finally I polished them with a cloth. Brass is a soft material.
