Joseph Smith Regrind in carbon fiber
Here is a full regrind, i reground it using an 8" wheel. It has a mirror finish.
Carbon fiber scales, G-10 weave wedge, expecting it to stand out a bit more, but, I ended up liking the understated look. Enjoy.

Gawd! that is cool! If I understand, that would be a fine shaving blade with all that hot and cold! Hard as a rock and pretty! Thanks for sharing! The scales are amazing.

I rest my case.

Wowwww Brad...Beautifully done
I just can't believe that all that rust came out of the "initial" razor. What a stunning transformation...There's no trace of crud remaining. Unbelievable!!!

Amazing job! I have been thinking about using the carbon fiber myself, had wondered why i haven't seen more of it as scale material. Was it hard to work with? What did you seal it with?
Great looking razor

Hello, Undream:
That is an incredible transformation of a straight razor in the hands of a craftsman. Great work.
