Los tres caballeros, the razors restored by Maximilian are now in Spain
Miguel (cherubino) and me sent 3 razors to Maximilian to restore it, and, above all, to rescale them, because the filarmonica scales are always made of plastic, and we think that such a wonderful blades are worthy of better scales than the originals. My Veiga has the scales broken, and I need a new set.
In few time Max did the job, and, only because the ebony was finished in his workshop, we have to wait some days, but it worth it...as you can see:

Vast improvement. I agree that those Doble scales never really impressed me either.

Max's work is perfection in its purest form. The grain on that ebony is lustrous and the pinning is incredible. You are a very lucky man.
