    Red face My first restoration: Wade & Butcher / Rosewood scales

    I bought this razor for a song. It was in pretty bad shape, a lot of staining & pitting. The scales had to go. I had to practice the peening before putting it to use. I'm new to honing but I bought a Norton 4K/8K and she came back to life and shaves very smooth. Sorry about the photo quality. It's not a great job compared to you professionals I've seen, but I've learned a lot from this one.
