Default 8/8 W&B in black paper micarta

    John,
send me his 8/8 W&B ,which he found in a store for 10 bucks (lucky bastard )
    for restoration.
Blade had pitting going on, the scales totally shot, delaminated and very dry on top of being arched.
So we decided to go for black paper micarta and red acrylic wedge with nickel silver pins and stacked SS washers. The scales are a copy of the originals.
The blade cleaned up great, still a few minor traces of the pitting left (just unevenness on the surface really), because I did not want to risk rounding the edge on the buffer.

Great job on the clean up & keeping the scale profile as original. It just looks...Right !

Beautiful work, Stefan. You really brought the vintage feel of the razor here in the 21st Century!
