TOP RESTORATION !
There used to be a guy a few years back called Vlad used to do a process to re etch blades. I think he used a laser but I may be wrong. Whatever you did looks great.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

The etch was done electro-chemically, the same way I etch my logo. I drew the design in Photoshop using a pen and tablet. That was the hard part: eight hours of eye strain and hand cramps. I developed a great appreciation for the engraver who created the original lettering. It was created by a truly skilled hand. From the digital file, I had a stencil made. The actual etching is easy once everything is set up.
