    Default Vintage Kropp Custom.

I have a small vintage razor collection which I have started to restore, one or two have no original scales, this Kropp is one of them so I purchased some arcylic 3mm sheet off Ebay and made my own, also took the razor to the grinder and took the toe off, gave the blade a good cleaning polishing and buffing, I like to think I gave a vintage razor a little modern update, I hope you approve of my first attempt of a custom job.

Very nice work. The blade turned out looking great and I like the squared off toe. I have a Kropp and it is a superb razor.

You did a fine job with this one. The blade looks really nice, and the scales fit the whole image. Nice one.

    Jamie,
You seem to be not only a good straight shaver, but also quite a good restorer as well . There's more to you than meets the eye . Great job

There's more to you than meets the eye, well that's exactly what my Wife said more than 25 years ago Robert, Maybe looking at all those wonderful straights you have Robert as inspired me, see you on shave of the day before the weeks out.

That is an excellent job. I love the way the blade and pins just seem to float in mid-air. The clear scales really make this a work of art.
