Thanked: 46Geo. Wostenholm & Son "Pipe" straight razor restauration
Few days ago I pick up this one on e-bay. The horn scales was broken and blade was rusty. I made new set of scales from plum wood, polish the blade and of course, hone it. There is visible light smile from center of the blade to the tip but I do not want to remove it because it not affeect shaving. So, final results are down on the photos:

Thanked: 46The scales are sanded up to 800 sandpaper and after that I apply Encerite (btw. excellent Portugese product) so the wood has it's nature look.

Beautiful work on both the blade and the scales. Congratulations.

Nice classic lines, great execution. btw, do you do anything else other than tightening the nut onto the bolt (glue, peen, etc.)?

Very nicely done. Very clean looking and not busy at all. I like the look. Keep them coming!
