Your work is always fantastic, but this is something even beyond that.
Thanks for being so open about the process you used to create the scales. I would try it sometime, but honestly it sounds like a PITA. I am glad there are people like you that have the patience and talent to create art pieces like this.

Cool looking blade, dig the old style tail.
The framed scales are an exciting idea that I can see using with other media too.

For me, the real star on this one is the blade-- that thing looks like a tool, a real man's tool. I've never lusted after a blade so much in my life, great job!
