Boker - The Favorite Razor
6/8 Boker - 'The Favorite Razor' - returned to as close to original (with a few small improvements 'under the hood') as I could get it without losing the gorgeous etching or maker's mark:
- original scales polished back to a high sheen
- blade cleaned up / polished (with greaseless compounds followed by jeweler's compounds) as much as possible without losing the either the etching or Boker logo
- blade pivot hole sleeved with brass tube to unsure a smooth pivoting on the pin without any slop or play
- brass thrust washers added for smooth, snug rotation of blade against scales
- original lead wedge
- new brass pins and washers

Very Nice. On the hunt for a Boker for my next straight. I'm new at this but I hear that Boker is a go-to straight for several.

A nice, clean crisp looking restore, back to original. What's not to love. Good job. Boker are some of the finest razors ever made.
Thanks for sharing.
