Cool W&B McAvity's Special in Ram's Horn acrylic

This was such a nice razor to work with, had a few issues to start with but it was all superficial no deep dark problems 6/8 size "Hollow Notch" point and a full hollow grind this is one I could grow attached to, but she is heading home to Norway tomorrow..

Kristian gave me free reign on material and design so I picked the Ram's Horn acrylic since I love using it on Sheffield razors, the wedge is Amber acrylic and she is held together with all new Brass pins and washers...

Pretty much if it says Sheffield on the blade I either run Norton 4/8 or Naniwa 3/8 after a bevel set, then finish up with some Coticule time that seems to get me the best edges out of them...

WOW.... that turned out better than I had dreamed of! Looking forward to checking my mailbox the next week. Who knows how long it will take to get it to Norway.

    Thanks Glen

Now that's beautiful. It would look great alongside my big ol' W&B.

    Nice one!
