    Default Non-folders in 1095 & Damascus.

Thought I would try something a little different to change things up.
The first is made of 1095 with a wedge grind (she is hollowed a little bit)
Width is around 6/8, cutting edge is 1.75" overall length is 6"
    The wood is Koa.
The 2nd is Damascus (pattern welded steel to be proper) also symmetrical grind like the 1st.
Width is around 7/8, cutting edge 2", overall length is 6.25"

Awesome - very neat and begging to be used.

Both stunning, but I gotta say the damascus one really does it for me.

Beautiful, the non-folding straights seem to be calling to me. Great work!

They look great. I'm looking forward to seeing one in person. (Hint, hint)

Brain, wow. That Damascus blade is wonderful. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection.

Very nice work Brain, yet again, the Damascus turned out very well. Congrat's!

    Thanks for the nice words.
I'm a DIY person but I have to say the Damascus did make me a little hesitant.
The concern was the HTing, that combined with the price of the steel made me a little nervous....lol
But I'm happy to say that everything went well and she provides a nice comfortable shave.

Those are gorgeous, I'm not usually a big fan of scales on fixed blades but that koa wood looks great.
