Beautiful, Maxi. Quality work.
My time on buffers has been fun, but whether just coincidence or lack of proper technique, I've had a harder time getting good edges from blades I've buffed. 'Has me back to mostly doing by hand. Glen once said to set the bevel before the resto efforts - perhaps this is why.
'Sure love seeing your work. Keep it up.

Thanked: 114I like this a lot. Well done. I am especially jealous of the wedge --- I can't seem to get wedges that looks as nice as yours. :-)
BTW, where do you purchase the bone for your wedges?

Thanked: 993It's a very special process to get this bone. First we buy it from the butcher, then we give it to the golden retreivers to snack on. After that, it sits in the sun at my inlawys place for a couple of years, and then when it's nice and dry I pick it up and run it through the band saw.
Alternatley, you can probably walk into a pet store and they'll have tonnes.

Thanked: 114A two year lead time to process bone seems prohibitive. But at least the labor is cheap (dog labor). :-) I read previously that you can use dog chews from the pet store but I was skeptical. I will definitively have to give this a try now. I’ll just have to keep Fido away from my razors! Thanks for the reply. Again, awesome work.
