W&B Complete Restore in Horn
Here is a W&B I did a few weeks ago. I noticed that someone did the logo on a set of scales and I decided to add my on spin on it.
The scales are horn with a Turquoise inlay. polished out the blade to a satin finish as I wanted to keep the blade etching in tact as much as I could. I also left some very minor pit marks but they are completely cleaned.
I sorta like the age showing as I think it tells a story about the piece. We all love that mirror finish (we guys like shinny stuff) but this blade is 100 years old and has a ton to say.
Why is it I see fingerprints in my photos that I don't see when I wipe the razors down....
Enjoy

Thanked: 114Very cool. May I ask what process you use to put on the logo?

Thanked: 114Thanks. I'm sure it is 100 times harder than you made it sound. Thanks for posting the process.
