    Default First buff and rescale!!

Hey everyone, Ive had this blade buffed for months. Dllandry gave me these scales at our last Toronto area meet... I used brass pins and washers and a SS spacer to assemble it.
    The blade reads
    98 herman-mehl
    bremerhaven-lehe
    and on the other side
    Solingen
    made in germany
The blade also once sported a faint etch that said solingen...

    Thanks for looking!
PS- Thats a cell phone picture, and as it is not perfect, its much prettier in person

Excellent! It must be nice to have it together. Pins look pretty good too!

Maxi, where do you buy your compunds, I got some stuff from canadian tire ( 6 different polish steps ) seems to work good, but I saw somewhere on a video they had buffers numbered in grits??

Check Caswell Plating. Greaseless compounds in sausages!

That's a beautiful razor and you did a great job on it. Clean lines and shiny steel. What more could a man need? Hows she shave?

Back to the hones for this one, I clearly didn't hone it 100% and it pulled a bit
