Grandfather's Razor restored
My Grandfather on my Dad's side passed away in 2002. My Dad was visiting my Grandmother in upstate NY and he brought me back 3 razors of my Grandfather's: 1 DE, 1 SE, & 1 Straight razor. I'll post the DE & SE once they are restored, but I finished the Straight this weekend. This is a 5/8 Yankee Cutlery "Lion Brand". The scales were cracked at the wedge pin on the back side and flattened out on the top by the pivot pin. The scales are a 1 piece set made out of leopard wood and finished in CA.
