    Default Bartmann in Galactic Copper

I picked up this Bartmann a short while ago.
The blade was is decent shape but the scales looked pretty shot.
So I thought I try a little something different.
The scales are mostly the same as Mokume Gane but made from a single metal instead of 2. These are Galactic Copper. Took a bit to get the look I wanted but I like the way they came out.

Love that copper! I still yet yet to own anything with copper, but one day I would love to find a set just like that. Great job!

Nice colour combination, it's a nice piece. How did you seal the copper to stop it from corroding? Lacquer or varnish of some sort?

Great looking scales Brian. The overall package looks really sleek.

You're killing me. I'm trying to get my various ADs under control. It didn't occur to me until reading this that copper can be used as a scale material - heck, I hadn't ever heard of "Galactic Copper" until now. This opens up so many more possibilities to feed my disorder. Thanks a whole lot, pal. :-) :-) Awesome looking razor though. Great job!
