Oh...there sure was a large expensive sander there ... I just didn't include it.
The 4th picture, hmmm... the middle sander, right? It looks like a regular belt/disc combo but it's really aggressive.

I don't suppose you would be willing to reveal his trick for the Jimps would you?

oh.. and the thing I was asking about is not the belt/disk sander but the one that looks like a standard buffer, but seems to have some large aluminum/rubber 3-4 inch wide drums, with a "modified sanding belt??"

That looks wicked, I zoomed in and just can't say I have ever seen anything like it before.

Robert has been around our environment for a long time and has always been one of our true gentlemen. He just keeps getting better and better and continues to do more fantastic work. He is a great guy and I know you will enjoy his razors. I have a couple that I will never part with. Wish he had more time to come around and visit like in the old days. You guys who have had the opportunity to visit with Robert in person are very fortunate.

    Have fun.

Also, if you look at the pics of him, you'll quickly see why nis nick 'papa bull' is entirely appropriate.

Wow Zomax, thanks for posting this, that is just awesome, it takes quite a talented person to do this, and he's definately got that talent. Now you got me wanting one of his razors....
