Indeed these 'stacked' washers (couldn't give it another name...) are a one piece brass stamping. It's supported by a little thick washer in another metal (not brass).
    These are indeed authentic.

You hope I like it? Are you kidding? When can I come and get it? Like I said before for someone who is just starting to restore razors you're doing a incredible job! When I showed some of the work you've done to the guys in the Belgian shaving club they all agreed on that, we do hope that you join us next time we meet. O and I have enough razors to keep you busy for a while ;-) Going to hone this one up and take for a test ride tomorrow. Thanks Dimitri

Beautiful reproduction of the scales & all over great job. Looks like a nice straight razor too.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I think that looks really nice. You did a great job using new materials and retaining the curves and bevels of the old style. Really well done.

I think that's the perfect way to rescale a W&B. Make it look like the original.

Just returned from Dimitry, the razor looks even better then on the pictures. Very happy with the result! Time for mr. W&B to meet Ms. La Dressante
