    Amazing restoration. The scale design is unique. Have not seen one like it. Great job!

    I think there's a really nice juxtaposition going on here. The sharp corners on the edges give it a rather rigid look, which is immediately where my eye is drawn to. Then when you look at the gentleness of the curve sweeping through from the toe to heel, there's an element of grace, almost like a very proper lady sweeping into a room unannounced and unnoticed but wearing a striking dress. I think these scales are actually quite brilliant.
