    Thanks, I haven't shaved yet. I have set the bevel and she's popping arm hairs without a problem. I will be polishing the bevel tonight and hopefully have a great shave story tomorrow .

    The silver twill originally came from Masecraft. I purchased it from a fellow shaver here in Australia.
    The steel is a 1.05% carbon, stainless steel. It is a powdered metallurgy steel and is really nice to work with. It is also 6 times the price as O1 . It has been hardened to approximately 61 HRC.

    Max, thanks for that. Your right lots of sweat and tears, thankfully not too much blood and lots of love.
    Total weight is 95g.

    Excellent first attempt. Or for any given number really. Reminds me of an old Rogers 'Military Razor' which I have. One question, does your tail design give a little undue weight, or is it OK when handling/manoeuvring?
